This thesis presents two computer programs that simulate continuous gas-lift installation design for both variable and constant surface injection pressure methods. The program for the variable surface injection pressure design method corrects deficiencies in the existing design procedures and incorporates new gas-lift valve performance data obtained by Tulsa University Artificial Lift Projects (TUALP). The program for the constant surface injection pressure design method is based on the Teledyne Merla graphical design procedure and their data.

The interactive design FORTRAN programs are compared to accepted graphical design procedures with excellent results.
